President Goodluck Jonathan made an appeal to the church to continue praying for the peace of the country, while addressing the second session of the 8th Synod of The Church of Nigeria (Anglican Communion) Diocese of Abuja. The Most Reverend Nicholas Okoh responded by assuring the 8th Synod that “with God by our side, Nigerians will overcome the challenges currently facing the nation.”
